A major renovation of an existing two bedroom cottage on a substantial block overlooking a bushland reserve.

The concept explores the idea of two double height pavilions connected by an entry/circulation foyer.

The living areas were designed to run the length of the ground floor plan; increasing natural light and opening up the interior directly to its surroundings.

Each of the bedrooms on the first floor were designed to align with the exposed gable ceiling; maximising ceiling heights and framing the view towards the nature reserve at the rear of the property.
